"You look really pretty today. APRIL'S FOOL!"
Yeah, that was my April's Fool joke today. Not the best around, I know. But still, better than nothing. Kudos to 4H for their awesome April's Fool joke. The "Happy Birthday, Mr Yau!" A4 posters all over school was a classic. Went down to Marina Square with Atikah, Farhain and The Bangla to MFM for lunch (That's Manhattan Fish Market for you darls, in case you're like Bangla who thought I had mistakenly wanted to say FHM). Window-shopped alot and when we finally got bored, we sat in Macs and made random prankcalls. I just realized how much it sucks to be a Sec 4 and how much it has killed my social life. I rarely even go out during the weekends now and I rarely come home after midnight anymore. All this for the sake of my O's? Okay, I'm willing to sacrifice my social life.
Exactly 35 more days to Prelim 1.(To all Sec 4s who read this and just got a panic attack, BREATHE IN AND COUNT 10.)
It's finally hitting me and yes, I am worried. Yes, I am panicking. Yes, I need to do well. I am losing it with all this stress upon me. But I thank God for my friends that helped keep me sane.
i) Zunairah and I got caught by Mrs Chew for ripping off Hanis' arm hair with sports tape.
ii) Zunairah, Hanis and I suffered from aching teeth cause we spent the whole of recess throwing Skittles into the air and catching it in our mouths but they always end up knocking off our teeth and rolling under the table, instead.
iii) The Throwers brought a watermelon to share during jogging today. Zhi Xuan, who ever brings a watermelon to school?!
I went to follow Mummy to NTUC after school the other day, and I was so pissed off cause she was taking absolutely forever and I still had homework to do and then she wanted to go buy fish which will equals to her taking forever times two, cause the fish would have to be scaled and cut and weighed and I was whinin and going like, "Nooooo, no need buy fish! I don't even like fish!" and I got a whole long 15 minutes lecture from the fishmonger about how fish is good and healthy and it's rich in Vitamin C and Omega whatshit and like hello, if I wanted to be rich in Vitamin C I would just eat a carton of oranges okay, so now stfu tyvm. FML. That fishmonger was just as annoying as Ris Low. What with her and the whole 987 thing.
Atikah : "Huh, there's an element called Bismuth? It sounds as if Ris Low is trying to say something."
Syu : "Yeah, sounds like Ris Low trying to say 'chicken'."
OMG NICOLE CHAN GOT GOLD FOR LONG JUMP TODAY. SHE JUMPED 4.95M AND TOTALLY BEAT HER PB BY 20 OVER CM LIKE WTF THAT'S MADNESS. COOL, BUT MADNESS. I AM SO FUCKING PROUD OF HER AND SHE TOTALLY DESERVES IT. IN FACT, SHE'S THE MOST DETERMINED ATHLETE I KNOW. FOUR YEARS OF PERSEVERANCE AND NOW SHE'S A GOLD MEDALLIST OMG COOL SHIZZ.
